~* I LOVE YOU, LORD *~
Ron Hamilton, 1950-present

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
I John 4:10

With all that is going on in the world today, it is so easy to set our affections solely on things of this earth. We hear "Always Remember..." and "Never Forget...", and for the love we have for those who've been lost in the attacks on our nation, we MUST remember. But I have another challenge for us today. Always Remember all that God the Father gave for us: our world, our lives, but most importantly, His only begotten Son...our Saviour. And Never Forget all that our Saviour did for us in coming to provide the only way to His Father. And God the Holy Spirit Comforts us with such love and gentleness, guiding us day by day with such patience and understanding. How can we help but sing out in love and joy and thankfulness that we love Him? And in acknowledging His love, how can we ever forget?

This precious children's song by "Patch the Pirate" Ron Hamilton has been such a blessing to so many lives. Allow the childlike-faith-filled words to touch your heart today.

I thank You, Lord, for all You've done,
I don't deserve Your love;
When I was lost You saw my need,
And left Your Home above.

You proved Your love on Calvary,
You bore my sin and shame;
I'll live for You through all my days,
I'll praise Your holy name!

CHORUS:
I love You, Lord, I love You, Lord,
Because of Calvary;
I love You, Lord, I love You, Lord,
You're ev'rything to me.

*For Today*: Deuteronomy 6:5; John 15:9; Romans 8:39; I John 4:19

We love Him because He first loved us. Let us show Him our love today by our obedience to His Word and by sharing His love with those He allows to cross our paths.
